The 500-151-30 is an Absolute Digimatic Caliper equipped with the electromagnetic induction type absolute encoder and AOS (advanced onsite sensor) applied for ABS coolant-proof calipers. The slider provides smooth, stable, and comfortable operation. A battery life of approximately 3.5 years has been achieved under normal use through the adoption of Mitutoyo's ABSOLUTE scale. The carbide-tipped jaw model is ideally suited to the measurement of rough-machined work-pieces, castings, and grindstones. The data output function allows integration into statistical process control and measurement systems. The ABS (absolute) measurement function enables absolute-mode measurement to be started without any zero-setting after switch-ON. The absolute origin position can be set or reset with the ORIGIN switch at any time.

Function

Absolute measurement: After power is turned ON, measurement can be started without zero-setting if origin-setting was previously performed. The Absolute origin position can be changed by the ORIGIN button.

Incremental measurement: Display can be set to zero at any arbitrary position for comparative measurements

Low-voltage alert: If the battery voltage becomes low, a "B" appears in the display to alert the user before measurement is no longer possible. A battery change advisory alert precedes this alert.

Data output By using the connecting cable (option), measurement data can be output.

Data hold: By using the data hold unit (option), the displayed value can be held. This cannot be used with the data output function.
